...a scanner in the house.

But SOMEONE hasn't installed it yet. And I won't touch it because it's not my scanner, technically. In other news I have been spending more time on my musical composition and music collection than my visual art.

I last drew a dancing gorilla with a paladin helmet on my bosses daily notes. He should be okay with it. I give him Mountain Dew.

The next logical step would be to post another false entry that gives false hopes to my having a scanner by the next time I post again.

I've been listening to Aesop Rock at Shane's recommendation, and I'm impressed and surprised by the depth of his lyrics. Every line is like another page in a thriller about life's secrets and I find myself repeating them over and over in my head.

Since I've acquired a notebook of my own, I've been buying supplemental accessories related to my interests. So far I've got a webcam, a sound recorder/mixing program, a slightly better video editing program (although since I only upgraded from Windows Movie Maker, is that even something worth mentioning?) and a headset. I've still got the Skype installer.exe sitting in my downloads folder though, so I don't know how useful that last item will be. But I digress. The long winded paragraph served as a buffer for my inane explanation for not having a scanner... yet.

So there you have it, one hundred some words to tell you I still don't have a way to upload my art.

To add the "sour-grapes" excuse, I haven't been producing much in the way of original, display-worthy pieces anyway.

On life: I'm still pretty beat up over losing her in more ways than one. I'm working on stopping the irrational behavior with hopes of being a sincere friend. This xkcd comics sums up my feelings pretty well.

I'm planning to move out by the end of the year, if only for the purpose of moving to Seattle. School aside, I really need to grow up.

so rasldf was very unwise in leaving his DA account open....at work thus leaving me the fine opportunity to mess with his account. however i being the decent co-worker that I am will not and merely make this post to show him how vulnerable he was
